I believe the best design organizations operate as strategic partners to the business — not a service desk.

Adam Haas

I'm a design leader who's spent 6+ years building products and teams at the intersection of user needs and business strategy.

My career has taken me from IC designer to leading multi-disciplinary design organizations. Along the way, I've shipped products used by millions, built teams from the ground up, and partnered with C-suite leaders to align product vision with company goals.

I care deeply about the craft of design, but I care even more about the outcomes it creates — for users, for teams, and for the business.

How I Work

Outcomes over output

I measure design teams by business impact, not Figma files shipped. Every initiative starts with a clear success metric tied to company goals.

Build the team, not just the product

Great products come from great teams. I invest in hiring, career growth, and a culture where designers do the best work of their careers.

Earn the seat at the table

Design leadership means speaking the language of the business. I partner with Product, Eng, and executive stakeholders as a strategic peer.

Career Arc

I spent my first decade in graphic and visual design, building the craft instincts I still rely on today. Then I went deep on UX and product at Wells Fargo and Auction.com, learning to design within regulatory constraints and at enterprise scale.

Leadership came through the work, not a title change. I built Emotive's design org from the ground up, drove $1.8M in new revenue through a product I designed end-to-end, and led a platform redesign that moved NPS 21 points. At Weedmaps I scaled to managing 8 designers across two platforms. At VideaHealth I'm scaling up the design team, while designing AI tools with real clinicians — balancing speed with trust in a regulated, high-stakes environment.
